Amy you are brilliant! I really enjoy reading your blogs because most of the time I'm going through the same dilemmas. I really do feel better knowing I'm not along in my guilt. Keep up the great work. Your daughter is lucky to have such a caring and knowledgable mom.

Dear Amy,
When Lily is of age you will have a better feeling as to whether she is ready of not. Some schools are setting the birthdate (to begin k) earlier, so that may have an impact on her starting time. I know 19 years ago you had to be 5 by the end of October here, then it was moved to August, and now they are talking about early June. Girls also tend to mature (socially) earlier than boys. You have enough on your plate right now, so put this one on a big back burner! :-)
Love to you,
Aunt Linda
P.S. As a "heads- up", I don't think the worrying EVER ends! :-)
